So this year, we rode the train again from Virginia City to Nevada City. Sean had the most fun of course. Then we went to the candy store and Brooke went wild getting her and grandma kicked out of the store. And Sean takes his trains very seriously. Obviously grandpa doesn't...
And there was rain And there was mud Then there was sadness
The girls had matching dresses - so cute! The kids had so much fun running around playing. It was a beautiful place with streams and horses. I'm just glad no one fell in!
So I tried my hand at a little wedding photography this week compliments of my niece. I've decided it's hard to get "candid" shots of a group of people because inevitably, someone looks like they're half asleep or making a goofy face. I loved this picture though. She made such a gorgeous bride. And her parents are gorgeous too. A photographers dream - to have such beautiful subjects!
Finally!! It's been raining so much this summer, I was beginning to wonder if we really still lived in the desert. But it finally came. I can't help but love the heat, the 4th of July, and the smell of bar-b-q. And I've never taken photos of fireworks. Most of them looked like blurs of white but some of them looked unique.

More pics of B. Loved how the colors turned out. And this one I ran a little photoshop magic on and thought it turned out cute.
I'm a piece of work I tell ya. I love my family and love being outside in the sun! I go to the gym because I have to. I take pictures because I love to. And sometimes I even make dinner. Because I'm hungry.
