April Showers Bring May Snowstorms

Now I've been complaining about the weather for a few months now. Every time it dips below 60 degrees, I say, "This just isn't right." And I've been threatening the kids that each time they drag out a Christmas movie to watch, that just by watching it, it will snow. I think they believe me now. Yes it's May. It's May 24th. And the kids were EXCITED! Like they hadn't seen snow in months! And Sean has a swim party Friday for the last day of school. This just isn't right.

Mother's Day

We took the railing off the front of B's crib this past week. She's really thinking she's a big girl now. But she has fallen out at least once every night since. We are on to the twin bed with a railing now so we'll see how that one goes. That girl is up for anything.

And Mother's Day was a busy weekend seeing how Chad's birthday was Saturday. But it was all worth it.

B in her Maxi dress. How cute is that?

And Ma with her grandkids on Mother's Day. What a bunch of spazoids....

5K

Yay for the 5K! So much fun!! It's a bummer the weather didn't cooperate but oh well. It's only May right? One more month of winter... I want to thank everyone so much for coming out. You all ran for such a great cause.

Yay Aunt Carole and Cousin Andrew! Come to find out, Andrew took 1st place in his age group!

Yay mom! The little missy took 2nd.

Lauren took 2nd in her age group! Go Lauren!!!

Spring Forsythia

Easter Egg Hunt

We got baby chicks this spring. So fun!

And we had an Easter egg hunt 2 weeks late. Gave Brooke a chance to wear her bee dress since we were all sick on actual Easter day.

And all the boys ganged up on Uncle Ryan.

Bedtime

Brooke insisted on putting her headband on BEFORE she went to bed.

Easter

Blasted snow. It actually made me forget I bought an Easter dress for B to wear. Oh well. Maybe next week? And how come Easter was so soon???

And I couldn't help but laugh when I read the note Mikayla left the Easter Bunny. Carrots and all...

More Spring Pics

One day it will stop snowing....

B eating ice cream - from her hands AND feet...

Sean is 5!

Seriously? Yeah. He's 5. And even though he wasn't feeling the greatest, he still had fun. The big present was Optimus Prime. It took dad just a few HOURS to transform him leaving us to ponder why we got it for him in the first place. And he didn't want birthday cake. Just toffee ice cream bars. So that's what his candles are stuck in.

4 wheelin'

Not sure if Sean could stick his tongue out anymore. I'm just glad he didn't get freaky and drive them both into the chicken coup.
